Welcome to the Mountain Vector Energy Privacy Policy. This policy describes how Mountain Vector and its partner companies (collectively described “Mountain Vector”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collect, use, process and share information about you.

This privacy policy applies to all of our Products and Services whether accessed via our website MountainVector.com, any Mountain Vector supplied Apps, APIs, Mountain Vector supplied portals, or on/from our Cufflink or hardware devices. In this Privacy Policy we refer to our website, products, apps, data and presentation activities collectively as our “Services”.

By Downloading, accessing and/or interacting with our Services, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy including use of your data with redacted information for our Advertising and Marketing purposes as described in the Marketing and Advertising sections of this Privacy Policy. Those sections explain how you can withhold or withdraw your consent to the use of your data for Mountain Vector Services Advertising and targeted advertising purposes. Using our Services

By downloading, installing, and/or accessing our Services, you consent to the collection of information about you by us. Most of the data comes directly from you, or our devices, or the collection of IDR and other data, login frequency, login location information (IP addresses) and other usage information. We use this data to provide our Services to you, including for the purposes of optimization, preventing fraud, customizing our web-based and app services, and verifying user access rights (what Services can be utilized by you) based on your relationship with Mountain Vector. We may also use collected information and data for the other purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including for Marketing and Advertising purposes.

When you visit one of our websites, we collect information about you, such as details about how you interact with the website/app, when you accessed the site, from what IP address you accessed our site, and other data. We may use the information we collect about you for a number of purposes, including for operating and optimizing the Websites/APPs, in connection with Advertising Mountain Vector’s services and for research or analysis.

Marketing, Advertising, and Communications

Unless you opt out as explained below, we and our partner companies use information collected about you for marketing Mountain Vector usage, number of clients, redacted datasets and related Service usage. We may also send emails using your provided information for scheduled outages, updates, and other issues that might arise within our Services or access to them. We do not include any advertising within our products or services require you to login.

To enable certain features in our Services, we may use identifiers, cookies, and similar technologies. These are mostly used to maintain information about your preferences and login credentials for our websites/APPs.

Our Privacy Policy indicates that we will collect information and may share it with partner companies and use it to facilitate Services features, research and analysis, improvements and optimization of our Services. We take measures including encrypting information in our databases to protect your information as much as possible. We do not store any SSN, Passport, or other government issued information. Mountain Vector takes appropriate security and technical measures to protect your information for unauthorized access, loss, and misuse. In addition, we request that our suppliers who process your information on our behalf take a range of security measures designed to help protect your personal information and maintain an appropriate level of security. However, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information online and offline, as the Internet by its nature is not a secure environment and the nature of security risks is constantly evolving. As such you should always take care when sharing your information online and any access credentials to our Services.

This covers data used by us in order to provide you with Services that you have requested – and that we have agreed – to provide to you, such as IDR Data visualization, Services, APPs, website access, APIs, and any other services.

This covers data used by us to comply with a legal obligation, such as to maintain records relating to tax or to respond to a valid legal request for certain data.

This covers data used by us for purposes that are not harmful to your privacy and can be reasonable expected within the context of your use of our Services, such as Mountain Vector Marketing, research, analytics, optimization of our Services; and

You consent to this collection when you agree to access our websites or install one of our Products, or use any of our services. You can withdraw your consent by uninstalling our devices, ask for us to remove your access to our website and Services; (ii) the storage of data by us through the use of Cookies or similar technologies. By accessing and using our Services, you consent to this storage and you can withdraw your consent by updating your cookie settings; and (iii) the use of your data by us and our partners for targeted messaging.

Location of Storage

We store your information on servers that are appropriate to your locale. For U.S.A. customers, data is stored in servers in the U.S.A. For Canadian customers, data is stored in servers in Canada. For European customers, data is stored in the EEA. Your redacted data may be transferred to a different locale for post processing, research, and analytics.
